The JUFA Hotel Murau is situated in Murau, Upper Styria, a 5-minute walk from the town centre. The hotel features lounges, a café, climbing wall, children's playground, and ski storage. Guests enjoy access to a sauna area, reading room, and outdoor meadow with grill. Nearby, guests can ski at Kreischberg, Frauenalm Ski Area, and explore the Grebenzen Nature Reserve. Free WiFi is available throughout.

The breakfast was very poor at that time, and the staff was unhelpful. They even closed the bar earlier than usual, and if a service is sold but not provided, that’s unfair.

We booked rooms for three adults and a dog and were handed a spacious suite on an upper floor, split into two rooms, a proper bathroom, an entrance hall, and a balcony. The distant view over Bratislava, showing the castle and bridge lit at night, was impressive and added character. The hotel felt like an experience in itself—part hotel, part spa, part mysterious private place—with several security checkpoints before even reaching reception. The setting had a slightly cinematic, distinctly Central European vibe that made the stay feel more like an adventure than just another night in a hotel. Everything was professional and welcoming, and the reception ladies were especially pleasant and helpful. Even small requests, such as borrowing an iron, were handled without fuss or extra cost. Overall, it was one of the more unusual hotel stays we’ve had, but very much in a good way. Given the size of our accommodation, the service, and especially the price, it offered exceptional value for money and genuinely exceeded our expectations.

Excellent hotel in the city centre. The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the staff friendly. The three saunas are great, the breakfast tasty, and the peace pleasant. Wi‑Fi worked without problems. I’ll gladly return! I recommend it. The stay was too short… I’ll come back again. No complaints.
