The ice shop and bus stop were right around the corner, the train station was a 5‑minute walk, the host was very helpful and answered all questions (breakfast recommendations) quickly and without hassle, and luggage storage was available. Everything was fine.

Being here felt like stepping into a home, and that comfort stuck with me. From the get‑go the host was wonderful—very polite, friendly, kind and attentive. Even with the language barrier he went out of his way to explain everything patiently, give tips and make sure I felt welcome. The building is gorgeous and the accommodation is flawless: rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculate, and smell like a freshly cleaned place—bed linen, towels, the whole room. The bathroom deserves a special shout‑out: it’s spacious, brand‑new, spotless, and the shower is amazing, with powerful, pleasant water that feels like a gift after a day of walking. The bed is super comfy, the pillows are good, towels are large and high quality. You’ll notice the care and quality in every detail. There’s also coffee and pastries for guests, a little touch that makes you feel truly cared for. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Trieste’s main station and a few minutes from the Grand Canal, with plenty of shops and services nearby—perfect for exploring the city on foot. What really won me over was the blend of the host’s friendliness, the immaculate cleanliness, the delightful scent, the comfort, the quality of the accommodation and the prime location. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly think, “I’m going to stay here.” Undoubtedly one of the coziest spots I’ve found on my Italian trip.

The spot was spot‑on: under five minutes on foot to the train station and a large supermarket, and a 10‑20 minute walk to Trieste’s centre and all the sights. The room was good‑sized and well‑planned, with comfy beds, a nice reading lamp, a tidy bathroom and a great shower, plus a Nespresso machine stocked with plenty of capsules, snacks and water. I got spot‑on restaurant and coffee recommendations. The only hiccup was that the hotel’s doorbell isn’t wired to the building, so you’ll need the owner’s or staff’s mobile phone to ring in.
