Hotel Bel Sit sits on Lake Maggiore’s shore, offering a private beach, dock for small boats, and a breakfast terrace with panoramic lake views. Rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV, and many balconies overlooking the water. The 5‑minute drive to Arona and 15‑minute to Stresa, plus free parking, make it ideal for lake‑side exploration.

The room had a lake view and the breakfast area also looked out over the lake. I didn’t have any negative comments.

The location is quiet right by the lake, with terraces for breakfast and relaxing, and direct lake access. Our room (111) was right by the elevator and was fogged from 5.30 am each morning—unacceptable! The bathroom is far too small. The shower is cramped, the tap on the sink is fixed so you can’t wash over the basin without splashing everywhere. The toilet is directly next to the sink without a divider, making it unsuitable for a double room. The double bed was noticeably too small for us (normal weight).

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, tasty lunch. The stairs on the pier… a better solution should be offered.

The spot by the water and a good restaurant within walking distance, plus a nice parking garage for our motorcycles.
