The hotel has a large outdoor terrace during summer and is situated next to Vadstena Castle and Lake Vättern.

Nice location opposite the castle. Large, nice room, comfortable beds, good breakfast, especially the egg porridge. Missing an information folder, a notepad, and a pen.

The rolls and eggs were good. All the spreads were bland, probably taken out and back in the fridge, dry and dull. The dessert cheeses had a dry surface. The beetroot salad had a dry surface. Day one was like that, I thought it might improve on day two but it didn’t. It looked like they had stayed in the same spot for two days. Not worth the price.

The staff were fantastic, the place was spotlessly clean, the location was amazing, the room was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great.
