The staff were friendly when we arrived and when we left, and the location is good. We paid 1.3 million KRW for a five‑night stay, but the place was dirty, there were old dried‑up contact lenses from a previous guest on the back of the bed board, and there were bugs in the bathroom. I messaged the hotel and they never even bothered to respond. I had heard another person complain to reception that day about the state of their room, so I didn’t want to add to their stress, but it really isn’t good enough. There are no windows, so it’s very dark. It just looks old and tired. I overpaid and honestly want some money back for this place.

The location was quite good, close to Bukchon. I could hear the neighbors and the TV the entire night, it was too loud

“Busy young people area with excellent food options and location”

Free bottled water and canned drinks were a plus. The address location was a little concerning, but overall the area was great. We walked or hopped into a taxi easily. The staff was very helpful with our requests. The bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain or glass divider, so water splashed all over.

“Great location at a great price”

The location was spot on. The bed was harder than normal and the towels were kind of small, so we had to keep asking for more. The staff was very helpful, great for a first‑time stay. The price was good for the location; there was no breakfast, but coffee and water were available in the lobby. The towels were smaller than we expected—maybe it’s Korea, but we needed a bigger towel and had to get them at Costco. The bed was a little harder than we’re used to, but it was a decent size.

The location is great, yet they only provide tiny towels—just two small face towels for four days that were never changed. After a shower the whole bathroom ends up drenched.
