“Hôtes super acceuillants”
The hosts were exceptionally kind, making the stay feel truly special.
The location and equipment were good, the place was very clean and affordable, and the tiny fridge and freezer were handy. However, the spot was noisy, the alarm woke me up early without warning, and the breakfast was served without notice—just a cold fried egg, four bananas, about two spoonfuls of jam with white bread, and an orange juice cut with water; no hot drinks. The staff rushed to collect payment and push guests out, the fan was missing and the AC worked poorly, and they didn’t give change.
This hidden gem in Mihintale offered a lovely room, superb Wi‑Fi, and a small view of tropical trees teeming with wildlife.
The hot shower and bed were great, and the staff were friendly, but there was no coffee available.
