The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis, situated on the shores of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, features 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, and a bistro. Rooms offer scenic views and free WiFi. Guests enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neighboring hotel Beau Rivage during summer. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the harbour and offers an outdoor terrace for breakfast during warmer months.

Very quiet, right by the lake, with a warm, family‑like atmosphere.

Great hotel right by the lake, just a couple of steps away, with a stunning view. There’s a small parking spot available, and a cool riverside restaurant close to the boat station, making it easy to reach Lucerne. A 10‑minute drive takes you to the Rigi summit. Breakfasts are good, rooms are decent but not fancy, and the price matches the excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend this place.

Der Türknauf vom Zimmer ins Bad war defekt und fiel beim Zuziehen auseinander. Sonst gefälliges, ruhiges Zimmer. Positiv werteten wir die Möglichkeit das Zimmer nicht reinigen zu müssen und dafür Fr.5.-- dem Personal zukommen zu lassen. Das Frühstück war einwandfrei. Sehr gute, ruhige Lage. Vielleicht sollte das Frühstück schon ab 7.30 Uhr offen sein, wegen Bezug der Bahnen und für Wanderungen
