Located in Mannheim's city center, the 3-star Am Bismarck hotel offers free Wi-Fi within a 5-minute walk of the main train station and Schlossgarten Gardens. Classically decorated rooms feature flat-screen TVs, minibars, and private bathrooms with hairdryers, and some have balconies. A daily breakfast buffet and on-site bar serve hot snacks. The hotel is near the National Theatre and Mannheim Kunsthalle gallery.

The front‑desk staff were fantastic! There was a strange sound:

The location, cleanliness, and staff were all good. The elevator and staircase were the only issues.

Breakfast was very good, a small buffet but with everything you’d expect for breakfast, and the hotel staff were very friendly; when I had to travel to Ludwigshafen they helped me find the correct trains and buses. The only drawback was that because the hotel is located at the main train station or on a heavily trafficked street, it gets very noisy when the windows are open.

Everything was amazing, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good, and the location is perfect—you can just walk to Wasserturm Mannheim. There was nothing bad about it; it was good value for money.
