Rooms were very clean and cozy, just a short walk from the lively parts of Vieux Montreal. Our room faced the 100‑year‑old Grand Trunk Railway Building, with its gargoyles and griffins, beautifully lit at night. The room staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue was that we had two suitcases but only one rack in the room.

The room stayed chilly at night, so on the second night I asked someone to explain how the system worked. They said because it was still summer (4 September) the heating was off, and I told them I needed to set the temperature for my family’s comfort. They then remotely raised it to 22ºC, which was odd.

The location is unbeatable—just steps from the best restaurants and bars in Old Town Mintreal. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. However, the hotel feels a bit tired; the decor isn’t to my taste and I found it expensive for what it was.
