Scandic Tampere City is located across from Tampere's Central Station. Rooms feature a TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, and work desk. Many rooms have a French balcony. The hotel offers bicycle rental, a playroom, and restaurant with international à la carte menu. Särkänniemi Amusement Park is 2.3 km away, and Kuninkaankatu Pedestrian Street is a 10-minute walk. Buffet breakfast is served daily.

The breakfast buffet has become smaller and the space cramped.

The location was perfect. The baby crib and kettle were arranged quickly. The toilet flooded, the room was cramped and the cupboard doors opened awkwardly in the little space that remained. The biggest issue was room service, because there is no coordination between the hotel and the restaurant. When the restaurant phone doesn’t answer, you can practically only order by “wolttaamallla”, to which the hotel adds a service fee. Even a basic service would work better.
