The Hotel Brandenburger Hof, a family-run hotel, is centrally located in Cologne's Altstadt-Nord district, steps from the main railway station. The cathedral, shopping streets, museums, and historical Old Town are within walking distance. Exhibition grounds are a 15-minute walk, while Cologne/Bonn Airport is 20 minutes by car, offering easy access to the city and beyond.

The hotel’s atmosphere was warm and it was very clean and tidy. From 7 am to 11 pm, they offered free coffee and snacks. The manager was very friendly. Without an elevator and with shared bathrooms, I think it’s still a pretty good place to stay for a trip. The lack of an elevator was a problem for me, and shared bathrooms were also hard to accept.

I stayed one night at Hotel Brandenburger Hof. Having read several reviews beforehand, I had a rough idea of what to expect. The location: being close to the main train station is unbeatable and perfect for a layover or a short city trip. Service: the staff were consistently very friendly, attentive, and warm—employees really make a difference here! Room: my single room with a private bathroom/WC was clean, functional, and absolutely sufficient for one night. Value: for the price level offered in this central location, you can’t really complain. The downside: the building is extremely noisy; sounds from the hallway and neighboring rooms come through almost unfiltered. The building as a whole lacks charm and coziness.

Sehr nettes, familiengeführtes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof. Zimmer nett eingerichtet, sehr schönes Bad. Trotz Nähe zum Bahnhof sehr ruhig. Sehr nettes Personal. Da gibt es nichts

Clean, quiet, and the staff are friendly. No breakfast is offered, and the heating feels weak.
