The spot is great and the folks were super friendly, even helping us book all our activities and checking in on us. The hostel on the island wasn’t spotless, and we even spotted a cockroach in our room. On top of that, our room had no window, so drying clothes took forever.

The accommodation was decent, the concierge was enthusiastic and answered every question, and the place offered snorkeling and diving, so we didn’t have to look elsewhere—very convenient.

After a recent earthquake, a few ants—probably coming through the walls—were in our room, but the staff were quick to respond and swapped us into a larger room at no extra cost. The location is fantastic, close to the main dining area.
