“Great place for retreat or to start an adventure.”

We only ate breakfast there because we like to travel around and try new things. The food is locally sourced and cooked by the house lady, and I suggest going in hungry. The owners confirm breakfast choices the day before and deliver them! It’s about a mile from the Trans Rarău road that cuts through the Rarău mountains, so it’s very quiet, secluded, and near hiking trails. It’s also within driving distance of Moldovan monasteries. The air is amazing and light pollution is minimal, so you can see more stars at night than in most inhabited places. I can’t say I didn’t like it, but the lodge is somewhat far from the paved road. I compensated for that by driving slowly and paying extra attention to the road. We drove a Kia Ceed, so if you drive a small 4x4 or a motorcycle you’ll be fine.

The location is excellent. Everything was fine.

The breakfast is varied and good – more than a tourist needs. I have no objections. The only thing I didn’t like was the forest road and the entrance to the guesthouse courtyard.

Peaceful, disconnected from stressful life. In one word, just beautiful. The people are the kindest I’ve ever met. I felt like I was returning to my parents’ house. I love absolutely everything.
