The room was spacious, breakfast was well varied, the staff were pleasant, and the parking was very convenient.

The rooms were nice and quiet, yet the hotel clearly struggled with its air‑conditioning system; the AC in the rooms was ineffective and we saw staff installing fans in electrical cupboards and around the hotel to try to keep things cooler during a hot period.

The hotel has a good location, which is a real plus, but several aspects were disappointing: at breakfast there was no freshly squeezed orange juice, which is a let‑down for a place of this standing; the main issue was the evening access— the night watchman seemed asleep and we had to call reception multiple times without immediate contact, a surprising and unsettling situation for guests; parking was also a problem, with no spots available in the area normally reserved for Novotel, and the upkeep of common areas was lacking, as a knife and a cup were left on the floor in the corridors, giving a sense of poor cleaning attention.
