Askari Inn Hotels

After traveling from Islamabad, we arrived around 7:30 PM to find the entire hotel closed. The owner didn’t answer the phone, neither the number on the door nor any other. Despite repeated attempts, we had to move and find another hotel that night. If the hotel was not operating or was shut down, why did you confirm the booking? If you were unavailable, a message would have sufficed. Worst experience. Edit: I updated my review after an apology from staff. I did not stay, so I can’t comment on the stay, but the hotel was closed on July 22 in the evening. I’m only changing the review because I don’t want to hurt their business.

“A Good Peaceful Stay, Away from City's hussle and next to beautiful river”

The riverside location of Askari Inn is truly stunning, and my family and I felt right at home here. We spent two cozy nights huddled up in our rooms, which were equipped with room heaters that helped keep the chill off. Although there was an unexpected electricity outage, the staff - particularly the owner - went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle, Askari Inn is an excellent choice.

“A place i would want to stay over again and again..!!”

I was blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the location at this family-run hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating - they even went out of their way to get us chapli kebabs on our first night, even though they weren't on the menu! The Ortho Mattresses in the beds were a game-changer for my back, and the owners were always happy to help us arrange transportation.
