“The perfect retreat for a busy life!”

My partner and I wanted a place to get away, somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This place was PERFECT. Extremely peaceful, just what was needed. We had everything we needed for a night’s stay. After a busy day in Bath exploring and seeing the sights, this was a perfect retreat. Morning coffee in the hot tub, admiring the scenery and animals in the nearby field… PERFECT. The only thing we wished we had done is book for 2 nights… which we’ve just done! The hosts were amazing, everything was explained – ample parking!

“Great find and would definitely book again”

I stumbled upon this gem and it turned out to be a perfect escape; the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place itself offered a relaxing retreat. Walking to the canal is easy, and nearby spots like Bradford upon Avon, Bath, and Laycock are all within driving distance and worth visiting. The accommodation was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and upon arrival we found tea, coffee, milk, and a bottle of wine waiting. A hob was available for cooking and the owners even provided a disposable BBQ for us to use. The property is fully dog‑friendly and secure, with fantastic views and friendly highland cows that greet you. The private setting and hot tub were delightful extras. Just a short drive away is a stunning garden centre with a coffee shop that’s definitely worth a visit.

“Phenomenal will be going again”

Everything was wonderfully secluded yet still easy to find; the hot tub and fire pit were fantastic. The owners were very kind and responded quickly to any questions. The information folder was a great touch and everything was simply lovely.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and I must say that my overall experience was quite mixed. While the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, I felt that the hotel's amenities and services fell short of my expectations. The hotel's location was also a bit of a letdown, as it wasn't as central as I had hoped. Despite this, the hotel's cleanliness and comfort were definitely highlights, and I appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff.
