St. Georges House, a charming Victorian townhouse in Shanklin, sits eight minutes from town centre and the rail station, and five minutes from the cliff‑top path to the beach. Guests enjoy free on‑site parking, complimentary Wi‑Fi, en‑suite rooms with toiletries, a full English breakfast, afternoon tea, and a relaxed lounge with a bar. Nearby, Shanklin Old Village, Shanklin Chine, and local shops offer easy exploration.

A warm welcome from the owner and staff made the stay feel very friendly, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent – nothing to complain about.

We stayed four nights at St George's House for a quick break, and it was just right; the breakfasts were great, the bed was comfortable, and Mark and Dom added a personal touch to the package. Their plenty of island tips and the convenient location for car, bus, and train travel made it easy to explore, so I’d recommend it. The only downside was that the Isle of Wight I remember from childhood isn’t the typical British seaside resort anymore.

Breakfast was good, the room facilities were very nice, and I appreciated the extra items that were included.

The location was excellent, close to town and the beach, and Mark welcomed us with a cream tea. The room was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfasts were delicious with a great selection, and a short walk brought us to local buses that could take us anywhere on the island – no complaints.
