We loved the wooden cabin surrounded by nature yet close to the town and main road; the outdoor area was great and fit our group’s needs. However, the common areas were quite dirty, the shared kitchen was poorly maintained, and the sofas and seating spots were filthy. The rooms, beds, and bathrooms were fine, but overall the upkeep was lacking. Despite that, it has a lot of charm.

The location was spot‑on, just a stroll away from bars and restaurants, and the pool was fantastic and very quiet. We booked the biggest lodge, which is fine for families but not ideal if you’re sharing with another couple; since we were alone it worked out, but the lodge had no private space—everything from the cooking area to the fridge and freezer was shared, unlike the other lodges that had individual fridges.
