Holiday Inn Express Santa Rosa by IHG

There was a lot of feces on the underside of the toilet seat…from a previous guest.

“We enjoyed our stay because the night auditor/ evening clerk cared about us.”

The spot is great and the check‑in staff were awesome. I spotted a bedbug on the bed, snapped a photo, and asked for the room to be cleaned and the linens swapped. I even called around noon to confirm it would happen. When we came back, the head housekeeper claimed she’d inspected the room herself, but she hadn’t. They only wiped the area where I’d killed the bedbug. Luckily the night audit clerk came and changed the linens. I tried to give the hotel a chance to fix the problem, but they lied, which is a major customer‑service fail.

“Clean. Safe parking for my exotic car”

The hotel was clean and new, unlike every other place in Santa Rosa.

“Great. Clean, fresh smelling. Only a couple issues.”

The place was clean, freshly painted, and the carpet looked new. The microwave, however, had the wrong glass plate – it rattled and didn’t work properly. The mattress was very hard and needs updating.

“Still going to stay here when traveling.”

We always stop here whenever we travel between Texas and back. The room had a funky smell, and someone was doing laundry – the detergent scent almost choked you when getting on and off the elevator. I also told the front desk that the bathroom mirror was cracked.
