“Traditional stay in Nara”

The hotel is housed in a traditional building and setting but remains spotless with excellent facilities. It sits in a great location and the bus from the train station is easy to catch; the hotel also offers a frequent shuttle bus throughout the day. Everything else was fine.

The staff were overall kind and courteous, and the bed slept well. Even though I didn’t request fresh towels, new ones were already in the room on day two—perhaps a bit excessive. The free café coffee service and small desserts were tasty. We booked a double room for three people, yet the free fridge only had two bottles of juice, and when we asked for more, the staff said there were only two. We didn’t drink alcohol. Adding an extra bed to the double room was too cramped.

“Se respira historia”

The room was comfortable, the atmosphere pleasant, and the view of the gardens was lovely; Nara amazed me with its deer and temples, making it well worth spending a night there to enjoy more hours in this charming place, but the cost seemed excessive compared to similar accommodations, especially without breakfast included.

“シルバーウィークステイ”

The staff were friendly and the service was very satisfying; the breakfast and teppanyaki dinner were delicious, but overall the place felt old.
