The location is great, you can try the carrelet, there’s a digital welcome booklet, self‑check‑in/out, and the host is friendly. The bathroom is cramped and not very functional – a small sanibroyeur, no space to change clothes, and the water system requires pressing the switch multiple times for a weak flow, forcing you to crank the hot water to the max at risk of burning yourself. There’s no tap water even though 4 L were provided, which is hardly enough.

It’s an unusual spot by the water, the bed is comfy for a cabin, water and electricity are available in a natural setting, and the sunset over the moor is peaceful. The place is relatively expensive for the basic comfort it offers.

Beautifully situated in the marsh, doors open via phone, two huts each with two beds, and the fishing nets are genuinely useful – you’ll always catch fish at each haul.
