The room was clean, but there was a cigarette smell that wasn’t a deal‑breaker for us, just not pleasant. The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel’s proximity to the airport meant we couldn’t walk with heavy luggage because of the steep hill, so we called a taxi and a hotel employee helped arrange it.

We returned to this hotel a second time during the trip, a week apart, and it felt a bit smoky. We requested the other hotel across the street, 300 m away, just like last time. It’s very good, and they wanted double the price, but since they provided it as a replacement, the room upgrade was free. We walked 15 minutes to the airport in the morning.

We approached the closed hotel door, called the number listed on it via WhatsApp, and a person came to escort us to the best hotel.

The owner was very attentive, and the price and performance matched the location well. We had a small door lock issue.
