“Séjour Médiocre”
I struggled to find any positives, but I have to admit the pool area on the lower floor, the spa, was a nice point that I appreciated. The pool area was calm and relaxing. I started with the poor reception: after a 2‑hour drive in 35 °C, the parking attendant surrounded my car and tried to tell me in his own way that I had to pay for parking. He didn’t speak English, so I felt pressured and misunderstood. I told him I would pay at reception, but he insisted I pay cash directly into his pocket. The receptionist defended him and confirmed that I indeed had to budget an extra 10 € for parking with my room. So far I could still understand the hotel policy. Then I discovered the room and that was a cold shower. Nothing was working, starting with the air‑conditioner. I was received and the receptionist did not offer me another room even though I told her the TV didn’t work. I had not yet realized the air‑conditioner was broken when I went downstairs. Basically they offered me a poorly equipped room. And to top it off, the main lamp in the living room, a neon light, didn’t work either. I had to turn on the bathroom light for illumination. I rarely complain, but in my experience, the chain of issues made me not want to stay a minute longer at this hotel. It’s a shame, it has potential. You can do better, I’m sure.
