The location is fantastic – thanks to the Berchtesgaden guest card you can leave your car and hop on free buses, plus get discounts at many museums. Breakfast is a different experience each day with lots of homemade dishes, and it’s great to unwind without Wi‑Fi or TV – it really feels refreshing. Sabine, the host, is incredibly kind and attentive.

The place is close to King Lake and sits on a hillside with good views. The homemade garlic butter sauce at breakfast is delicious, and Sabine is very friendly and welcoming. The bathroom is clean and tidy. The only issue was the confusing signage near the entrance – I ended up wandering around the back yard before finding the door, but overall it’s still a good stay.

We really liked it. The room was nice, the breakfast tasty, and the location great. The house’s fairy, a very warm host, made us feel at home. We were two people sharing the studio, which was cozy, clean, and well equipped – we lacked nothing. The balcony view was fantastic. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return. Thank you very much. The time just flew by too quickly.

The view of the mountains was wonderful, it was quiet, yet centrally located. The host was super warm. The highlight for me were the tasty tea blends in the morning and the “Morning Post.” Everything was made with love! We felt very comfortable!
