The location is very good, not far from the Mosel, many restaurants and shops, but the place is noisy with a lot of traffic. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed on the street side, so we used earplugs; our friends on the other side had a quiet view. Breakfast was okay, coffee tasted fine, but only plain bakery rolls from a discount store, one time a multigrain roll was offered. We were six people in three rooms for five days. The rooms were never cleaned, not even before arrival, everything was very dirty, especially the bathrooms. It’s not a problem that the place is old and cheap, but it must be clean. Fresh towels were only provided on the third day upon request, then they were left in the room on the unmade beds. The hair dryer in room 111 didn’t work at first, the mirror lamp didn’t work either. Then the dryer ran at full heat, almost flame‑like, and the light switch was in my hand when I turned it off. Too much light is over‑valued because you can see the black mold in the shower and the disgusting residue. I bought Sakrotanspray. In room 109 the toilet was about to collapse, the basin had many cracks, and there was a bloodstain on the pillow. In room 110 the sink was loose and there was mold in the shower (see photos). The outdoor dining area, terrace, garden, picnic and fire pit mentioned in the description were not present. We assume the “smoking area” in the entrance near the bike and motorcycle parking is not what was promised. This is a significant breach of contract!

“hôtel bien situé pour une étape afin de visiter la région”

The hotel is close to the city centre. The room is decent. The breakfast is hearty and well stocked. Contrary to what is advertised, there is no private parking; you have to park on the sidewalk or in a paid parking nearby.
