“No cumplió mis expectativas”

What I liked most about the accommodation was its location and proximity, being conveniently situated between the city center and the lagoon. However, several important aspects need improvement. I didn’t like the accommodation much, mainly because the room’s comfort was lacking. The mattress seemed to be covered only with foam, so it didn’t feel like a proper mattress for rest. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it included breakfast, but the restaurant experience was also unsatisfactory. On several occasions, the waiters were not very friendly and seemed to serve us until the end, even though we had arrived earlier. I also found the breakfasts to be very basic with few options. Overall, I think they should improve both room comfort and the breakfast service’s attention and quality.

The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable, a reasonable walking distance from the center, with well‑kept spaces and very friendly staff. We always parked right in front. For breakfast, there’s a café, and the included breakfast was quite good, featuring typical Mexican food. The room was spacious, with a small kitchen, on the ground floor overlooking the garden and pool, with a huge, comfortable bed that was cleaned daily. It had a fridge, plenty of wardrobes, and many hangers. At the hotel entrance there was a machine to refill cold/hot water. The hotel is quiet, no noise. Guests have access to a nearby boat launch (far from the hotel), where you can swim in the lagoon, with hammocks and kayaks. The only negative was that, on top of the normal mattress, there was a foam topper that made the bed soft and uncomfortable; we removed it after the first night and slept wonderfully.

We stayed three nights on the first floor in a family room with our daughters aged 8 and 12, right in the city center and within walking distance of many restaurants. The hotel shares a spot by the water where there are sunbeds and you can use the free canoe once. Breakfast is decent with a variety of choices and you can order à la carte if you wish. The lake is beautiful for sailing or just relaxing. We did wish there were places to dry wet towels or swimsuits, and a few chairs outside the door would have been handy, especially since we had a shared balcony/entrance.

The place is very cozy. The only downside is that there is no hot water in the shower.
