I found the place quiet, just a short walk to the train station and a quick ride to Roma Termini, which made exploring the southern half of Appia Antica easy. The breakfast was typical Italian fare with fresh fruit and cereal, and the staff were attentive; they added bananas to the fruit bowl on the second morning after I asked for them on the first, which was a nice touch. I enjoyed chatting with them in the breakfast room despite the language barrier. The room itself felt a bit small and dated, and being on the ground floor I kept the curtains drawn, so it was a bit gloomy.

The hotel is great and not too far from the station, making it easy to get to Rome: a 10‑minute walk and a 15‑minute train ride to Termini. It’s really clean, the staff are friendly, and the daily cleaning and continental breakfast are good. It’s very quiet, and I’d recommend it if you’re staying near Ciampino airport.
