It was nice and quiet. Getting there is a little harder if you don’t have a car.

The location is ideal as a base for hikes. The self‑catering kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The bed linens and towels were provided. In Aviemore, Tesco, Aldi, and many small shops gave us everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The main building also has a pool, a restaurant, and a bar. The only downside was the lack of satellite TV.

The three‑bedroom apartment was a great size and had all the essentials. It could have used a bit more cleaning and TLC, especially the toilet seat. The staff were rude at check‑in and made guests feel like a nuisance.

The spot is convenient, but the place feels worn out and pricey, especially now that a housing estate is sprouting around it and the once calm area is clogged with traffic.
