Situated 128 km from Newcastle Airport, near Derwentwater Lake, Buttermere and Whinlatter Forest Park.

The interior is gorgeous, plenty of space, and every essential for a cozy winter weekend is there. Nothing to complain about.

The place is amazing, tucked away in a quiet spot with everything you could need and even toys for the dogs; it’s spotless, the sofa is comfy, the deep bath is lovely, and honestly it’s a gem. The hot tub is a huge bonus, and the dogs loved it, which was a huge plus. Everything was brilliant.

The lodge is beautiful, the location is excellent, and it’s very clean. Tina, the host, was fantastic and extremely helpful. My husband, kids, and dog had a great time and we would definitely return. Vikki Gill from Ormskirk.
