“Very disappointing experience, misleading advertising, and unresolved refund issues.”

The only bright spot was a staff member who tried to show me different rooms and offered an upgrade after I raised concerns. This place shouldn’t be listed on booking. I’ve had worse stays, but this was among the worst. The property looked nothing like the pictures on Booking. The room was in terrible condition, uncomfortable, and felt unsafe. Even the upgraded room was dark, gloomy, and unsuitable, so I left and booked another place at extra cost. I was later told I’d get a partial refund. I was asked to return the keys and I was happy to comply because I was still in Agadir. The manager refused to collect the keys, claiming the locker had already been changed, and said only the remaining balance would be refunded. No refund ever came, despite more than a month of attempts to contact the manager via WhatsApp. I had to take the issue to a higher authority. The whole experience felt deceptive and dishonest.

The staff were lovely. You could hear the waves from the bed. The place was spotless and clean. Great location.

The view and the welcome were good. The cleanliness was awful: everything was dirty on arrival, the toilet was filthy, and the whole apartment smelled bad.

The view of the beach and the city from the terrace was great. The room had no windows, no coat rack, and the hot water wasn’t always available.

The only good thing was the location and that Hassan was friendly. It was probably the most putrid and unhealthy place I’ve ever stayed. The bathroom tap had mold and didn’t produce clean water. The whole place smelled bad. It was full of bugs, roaches, and all kinds of insects that appeared with the trash. Out of the three beds, only one was somewhat usable; the other two were impossible, with wooden pallets taken from the street used as mattresses. Two large people slept on a single bed because the others were uncomfortable. In short, avoid staying here if you can, especially since it’s so expensive for everything described. The only redeeming factor is Hassan, who is a good man.
