I had a terrible stay, even though many reviews were positive and that influenced my choice. First, the Wi‑Fi was a disaster; we couldn’t get it from our room and had to stand at reception to use it. On the first night I saw 3‑4 ants crawling in the room, so I removed them and slept. The next day a whole colony was on the wall, the desk, and drawers. I reported it to the owner, who sent his wife. Her attitude was unacceptable for hosts – she came, brushed off the ants as “normal for the countryside,” claimed she’d cleaned before we arrived, and refused to do more. She got annoyed when I disagreed, insisting that a host should first apologize, not be rude. She eventually apologized but said “you may have paid 700 €, but we didn’t get 700 € (after booking’s commission), so it’s not my fault.” She then told me that paying didn’t give me the right to complain to her husband, even though I only asked someone to handle the ants. I should have stayed silent and finished my 10‑night stay with ants. If I’d said nothing, how many ants would there have been after the first night? The photo clearly shows a nest or something attracting them in the wall.
