The hotel was conveniently located, easy to get to, clean, and had designated smoking areas, but the staff checking us in acted like a coach on the sidelines of a losing team, yelling at everyone in the lobby about only giving us directions once and at the same time so we needed to listen, then entertained drunk behavior in front of us for 20 minutes while we waited patiently, and rushed us through the process as if we’d inconvenienced her; the pool was supposedly open but we couldn’t get in, and the gate was locked the whole time we stayed.
