I stayed in the charming village of Montefortino, just a stone’s throw from the center and with parking right nearby. The place offers two “mini‑apartments” (room + bathroom + small entry with table) that overlook the Sibillini mountains. The rooms were immaculate, well‑furnished, comfortable, with very cozy beds and air conditioning; the bathrooms were equally spacious and clean. The host, Alessia, was warm and extremely helpful, even giving me great local restaurant tips since her own restaurant was closed on the nights I stayed. Breakfast was served in the same restaurant, featuring homemade pastries, yogurt, coffee, drinks, and fruit. If you plan to head out early for hikes or other activities, you can request a “breakfast box” instead of the usual spread. I paid €140 for two nights via Booking. The value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this spot and owe a big thank you to Alessia for her courtesy and availability!
