“A good stay but room for improvement”
The room was spacious, spotless, and the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly, but I think a different room would have improved our stay. Initially, parking was hard to locate; we eventually found their car park but were told we couldn’t use it even though there were several free spaces. That night, we slept poorly, which lowered my rating. Our room was right next to the lift, so the noise from people moving in and out at night and early morning was constant. The walls and door were thin, so we were woken up each time. Housekeeping started vacuuming very early, which was loud. The AC unit sounded like a giant fish tank, was too warm to turn off, and added to the nighttime disturbances. I didn’t use the coffee pods in the room, but at checkout, the staff asked if I had, and there was no sign indicating they were not complimentary.
