A wonderful place to stay; I loved the elephant chairs outside. The host was friendly and I’d love to come back. There’s nothing to dislike.

Very private and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful forest full of singing birds. It’s close to Rangiora and the hosts were friendly. Nothing to complain about—it was great.

John and Marion were extraordinary hosts; we felt like family with them. They made us feel very comfortable, helped us a lot, and spent a lot of time with us when we had a big problem. They’re wonderful people. The garden house in the middle of the large, natural plot was super comfortable. We didn’t miss anything, just felt at ease. The location is great for relaxing and hiking, and we can only recommend it.
