“Uncomfortable”

The location was fine. I had originally booked a double and a single for three, and when I asked if we could change it so each of us had a bed, the man on the phone was very helpful and it was not a problem. All staff were very friendly. There was a residents lounge, and if the heat was on we would have sat in there more often. The heat was off during the daytime, there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and you couldn’t eat or drink in the room. I had to hold the tap down with one hand to wash the other hand, brush my teeth, etc.; both taps were the same. Bulbs were not working in both lampshades. I couldn’t watch TV because it kept losing signal. The picture of a pub is used in the advertisement, but we were in a house two doors up the street.

The location was great and the staff were friendly, but the pillows were hard, the sink water pressure was low, the shower was good, and otherwise the room was clean and sufficient.

The location was great and the place was very clean, but the bedside lamps didn’t work, there weren’t enough sockets, and the TV needs replacing.

“Bien”

The hotel sits right in Westport, just a stone’s throw from the town centre. There’s no on‑site parking, but you can park on the street – free overnight, paid during the day. Breakfast isn’t offered on site, yet a few options nearby like The ClockHouse Café are only 300 m away. The room was spacious and clean. The heating hadn’t been turned on yet, so the room felt very damp and it was impossible to dry towels or clothes. The bathroom was a bit small, windowless, and equally humid.
