The buffet was good, and the staff—every single one—were very attentive. The downside is that it takes a long walk to and from the parking area, though there’s plenty of space for drop‑off and pick‑up right in front of the hotel.

The check‑in was very friendly, the rooms are a bit older but still comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent by American standards. The problem was that a wedding was taking place in the hotel, and the rooms on our corridor were assigned to guests, making it very noisy deep into the night; the corridor is very sound‑prone.

The ground floor was spacious, allowing you to work or study comfortably with plenty of outlets. The only issue was the carpet in the long hallways.

We enjoyed our stay overall; the rooms were clean, the forest setting was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the breakfast was amazing, but the bar and restaurant service was the biggest downside. On Friday and Saturday, about 25 people waited around the bar, taking 10–12 minutes just to place an order and another 15 minutes after paying for even a simple take‑out box—delays that badly affected our evenings. With no other nearby restaurants, guests rely heavily on the hotel’s bar and kitchen, so efficient service is crucial, especially during busy times. On Sunday, at check‑in we were told the kitchen was open until 11:00 p.m., and the menu listed those hours, yet when we arrived at about 9:40 p.m. to order, the bar was already closed. No one had informed us of the change, leaving us unable to order food.
