We booked just a bed, and a nearby pub served an excellent supper. Our room faced the sea and the harbour, letting us see both the sunset and sunrise. It was about a 5 to 6 minute walk from the station and easy to spot. There was no breakfast at the Stanley, but several advertised spots nearby could feed you if you were hungry. The Isles of Scilly boat was only a 2 to 3 minute walk away, and breakfast could be taken on board.

The location was ideal for exploring Penzance and nearby towns. The geothermal pool was right across the road! Eateries, pubs and a shopping centre were all within walking distance.

The location was good. The cleanliness was lacking.

The location was unbeatable and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, though some rooms were truly exceptional – you should ask the front desk for advice on which one suits you best.
