“Chantal was a perfect host- friendly and generous, and the Duck House is gorgeous.”

The house is stunning in a gorgeous setting, full of creative touches like a working loom and ducks in many shapes. Chantal, the friendly owner, has decorated with impeccable taste. Our room featured beautiful drapes over the bed head, a bright, shiny en‑suite, and even a private sitting room. The breakfast hall, with its mezzanine and cathedral ceiling, was a delightful surprise each morning. Everything was perfect; the only issue was the tight driveway entrance for parking, but well‑placed mirrors made exiting safely easy.

A lovely rural setting close to the Seine. The traditional accommodation is charmingly decorated and well‑maintained. The host was very reserved, and we initially felt unwelcome—no smiles, no interest in us or our arrival—but she was not unfriendly or cruel.
