The welcome was warm. Sumithra is a kind woman who cooks very well. She is also a dance teacher. She enjoys conversation and, despite having some limits in speaking English, the communication is pleasant. Her husband Subasinghe, a retired military man, is rather discreet but very friendly. He can take you to good prices with his vehicle (touk touk) to certain destinations around Ella like the Buddhist temple where the view is superb. Their house, though modest, has a lot of charm and the back overlooks a pretty river. The rooms are top! The address is not fully specified. The street number is missing.
