Located beside the Nan River, Topland Hotel & Convention Centre offers panoramic river and city views, free Wi‑Fi, an outdoor pool, spa, sauna, hot tub, karaoke rooms, nightclub and snooker room. Air‑conditioned rooms feature bathtubs, showers, cable TV, minibar and fridge. It sits 15 minutes from Phitsanulok International Airport, 5 minutes from train and bus stations, near the Folk Museum and Night Bazaar.

The staff were sharp in their hotel uniforms, and the band nailed every English country and soft‑rock request, playing all the songs we asked for; the food was great and reasonably priced. However, the western‑style breakfast was a let‑down—no bacon at all, and real orange juice would have been a welcome addition.

The hotel is close to Wat Yai, Wat Ratchaburan, and the public garden. The bathroom fan, though, was broken.

I liked the location and the staff were friendly, but the TV signal was spotty and a few power outlets were broken.

The hotel looks well‑maintained and clean, but it’s clearly an older property. Breakfast did its job, though it leaned a bit toward Asian fare, which was expected in Thailand.
