The place is in a great spot and the private kitchen, bathroom and terrace are a nice bonus, plus you get a parking space right out front.

I couldn’t find the accommodation, never received any response from the host via message or phone, and had no reply at all.
“Nice lakeside spot, but bring your own linens”
We loved the location – right on the water and only about six kilometres from Montreux. The price felt fair and the staff were friendly, even helping us sort out a power outage after our lake walk. There’s a pool on site, though we hardly used it because the lake was right there. Cleanliness could have been better, so I’d bring my own sheet and pillowcase just in case.
“No fan, got hot”
The room was fine overall, but it got uncomfortably warm and there was no fan to cool it down. A fan would have made the stay much more pleasant.

The place was really quiet and the host answered my call right away, telling me exactly how things worked and which room I’d be in. My room was big, the bathroom spacious too, and the little kitchenette had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker – just no pots or plates. There’s a shared kitchen that’s fully stocked and a nice pool nearby. The only downside was that the room was crawling with ants.

The check‑in was a nightmare: no instructions beforehand, the phone number on the confirmation was dead, and there was no sign pointing to the property. We spent around three hours wandering around before the owner finally called back with the apartment number and access code. The flat itself looked roomy and well‑equipped, but the bed was infested with tiny ants and the bathroom was swarming from floor to ceiling. We ended up taking the mattress apart and sleeping on a blanket.
