The room was clean, stylish, with a fireplace and exposed stone, the area was quiet, the hotel had a very chic vibe, and the private secured parking was a plus. We had booked a parking spot and would have liked the hotel to give us practical details on how to reach the building by car and get to the parking, because parking in the neighbourhood is tough and the small reception door isn’t sign‑posted. When we arrived it wasn’t obvious where to park: you first have to park, then get the parking map, then go back to the car. After that you have to push your luggage over the small pebbles in the parking lot, which isn’t great for luggage wheels or for wheelchair users. A dedicated passage between the parking and the hotel would be a real benefit for future guests. The historic charm of the building means the floor in the room slopes, which gives it character, but it also tilts the TV table, making the screen hard to view from the bed, and you have to find a way to secure the luggage so it doesn’t roll. This is more a recommendation than a criticism. At reception, the luggage handling and friendliness could have been warmer. It didn’t live up to a hotel of this category.

“Really nice stay, but perhaps go out for breakfast”

The location, parking, staff, room, and cleanliness were all excellent, but the breakfast wasn’t that great compared to the rest of France; I expected it to be better.
