“It might have seemed reasonable for half the price”
Not much to say except it is close to where my daughter lives; check‑in was not very friendly and they wanted to know exactly what time I was checking in, sending a few emails/texts about that. I also got a discount if I paid cash, something I’ve never experienced before. There is no elevator, so I, at 68, had to walk up four flights of stairs with my suitcase. The furniture in the room was very tired, and it was definitely not worth what I paid. My daughter looked up nearby options after seeing my room and I could have had a nicer room at several nearby locations for less than I paid here, so I clearly need to revise my search method in the future. I always check the evacuation plan posted near the door to the room, and it was a long, wordy explanation that basically said, in case of fire, go down the stairs or stay in your room and put a towel under the door; there was no fire escape as far as I could see.
