I slept well, yet there were hair strands in the sink. I guess that's unavoidable, though the staff kept cleaning up regularly.

The location is close to the station and feels safe for solo female travelers. After checkout I couldn’t leave my luggage, even though that used to be allowed.

The spot is great, close to the subway that takes you to many places in Tokyo, with plenty of good shops nearby, and you can do a lot of things around. The bathroom area is also fine, with clean towels and pajamas every day, and the showers and dressing tables are good for getting ready. The place smells moldy, probably because the facilities are old, the sleeping cabins lack good ventilation, they say you can’t wear shoes but the carpets are dirty, the attendants don’t speak English as advertised, and they’re often rude when you need help. The lockers are too tight for a suitcase, and you can’t leave your bag in the corridor; you must hand it over to reception, so every time you need something you have to go to reception, take your bag to your floor, and then return it, which is ridiculous because there’s enough space in the room entrance to leave it.
