The pool was filthy and cold – a real disappointment.

The junior suite was superbly furnished, parking was available in the courtyard, and the breakfast and beach spot with loungers were included.

The bed was comfortable, and we received extra clean towels even though we were told that wouldn’t happen; the free beach chair and umbrella were a pleasant surprise. Almost everything else was disappointing: the photos on the booking site were outdated and inaccurate, the pool was dirty so we didn’t use it, the shower was cramped and hit the mixing tap with every move, causing sudden temperature spikes, the staff were unfriendly with little hospitality and seemed unwilling to help, and even though it was the last weekend of the summer season, we didn’t feel like valued guests. The breakfast buffet was extensive, but nothing tasted fresh (everything was prepackaged).
