The two owners welcomed me with affection and warmth, making the space bright and soothing. The yurts are a unique experience that requires an open mind; the stove keeps it warm, but you have to keep adding fuel, otherwise the night can get chilly, especially with the frosty temperatures we had. Outside, there’s an eco toilet and shower; you’ll need to step out in your bathrobe into the cold night, but that’s part of the charm and comfort varies for each person. We found it amusing for a single night. We were also keen to unwind, and the loving atmosphere achieved that instantly. The yurts are spacious, with plenty of room for luggage and everything else; plus, they’re positioned at the back of the garden, so you’re shielded from view. We stayed in spring; in summer it will likely be even more pleasant and enjoyable, because we couldn’t use the grill area and garden due to time constraints and low temperatures.
