“Great room, excellent staff and wonderful cake for my wife’s birthday celebration.”

The hostess, Valentina, was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was gorgeous and the food was superb, especially the cakes and pastries. The only thing that fell slightly short of perfection was the mini fridge—it wasn’t on the first night, maybe I pressed the wrong button. That’s just me being ultra picky.

Located right in the old town yet surprisingly quiet. Tastefully and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and a hearty breakfast. The downside is that there are no guest cards; you have to park outside (pedestrian zone) and carry your luggage at least 300 m. The only time you can get closer is between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

We booked this place in the heart of Merano on time after a recommendation that turned out to be a stroke of luck. Located on Laubengasse in a bright back‑building, Maison Valentina has about seven rooms that are bright, modern, and very clean. The friendly owner is in the house until noon each day. It’s a place to relax, let your soul unwind, shop and eat around Laubengasse, or start hikes. The accommodation is quiet, and stepping through the large wooden front door puts you right in the bustle of the beautiful Laubengasse. A parking garage is about a five‑minute walk away. Breakfast offers everything one could wish for. Rooms have a coffee or tea maker and a small fridge. We’ll gladly return and wish all future guests a pleasant stay. The only note is that there is no elevator for wheelchair‑accessible guests; you should know this before booking if needed.

Very tasteful décor, almost new, meticulously planned and executed down to the last detail. No wishes were left unfulfilled.
