The accommodation was amazing, but don't try to reach it by regular car—the road is too steep. Just park at the balneario and walk 2 km on a beautiful hiking trail to get to the village. For the return, take the tubing and in 30 minutes, through the most beautiful canyon in Central America, you’re back. The family kitchen is exquisite, whether for dinner or breakfast. The food was actually really tasty and the staff were super friendly, which was a nice surprise. But, we had booked a private room and were pretty disappointed to find out we had to share the bathroom with another room because the hotel staff had taken over the private rooms. I get it, things can get weird, but if you're gonna offer private rooms, they should actually be private.
