The room was neat and the location was excellent, but the checkout was rough: I was heading out with the door open, ready to load my car, and heard banging on the next door with yelling about checkout, then I was yelled at too; a simple “good morning” and reminder would have been kinder.

The motel was fine for a short stay, but when we left the room, the man who came to remove the used bed sheets was unpleasant, criticized us for leaving 3 minutes after the 10 am departure time for a one‑night stay, and was aggressive; I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

The location was great, just a short walk to restaurants and supermarkets, and overall it was very comfortable.

It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hot shower was lovely; it’s not far from shops and eating places, so overall it was great and I’d definitely stay here again next time I travel to Wangaratta.
